On Thursday 25th November, our group held a small meeting to discuss the planning of our music video and see how what everyone was doing individually.
In the meeting, Kerrin gave feedback from the band on the questions we wanted to ask and we each read through them. I noticed that we would have quite a lot of free will as the band were willing to change their name and logo but they had no idea's for music videos.
In the meeting we decided that it was crucial to meet our band members before coming up with ideas, so have decided that we will try and get this meeting within the next week. In the meantime, I have decided to watch some more performance based music videos to get possible ideas for our bands.

Friday 19th November
Today during our lesson we got into our groups to discuss further our ideas and sort out our organisation.
It was during this that we had to assign roles for everyone in our group. We decided;
During this lesson we also compared all our lessons with each other to find times that we were all free and available. Unfortunately we were only able to find 3 frees together over a 2 week period, but its during these free periods that we will hold group meetings in the Sixth Form Centre to make sure everyone in the group is getting on ok and knows what they're to do for the next meeting. This should hopefully keep us on top of what needs to be done and help our communication and organisation between each other.

Tuesday 9th November
Our group gathered together on this day, and even though we had no lesson we decided to get started on our research. We looked up our band 'Starfish' and found their website which we began to take notes from. We noticed that the band had quite a few influences, so felt that a good way to get started on what the band would be like, would be to look through their influences.
I sent all members an email of who should research what bands and the area's that should be covered which looked like this;

Questions for the band
Before meeting our bands, we needed to come up with a list of questions that would help us find out more information about them and find a starting point to our music video.
- What are the names of the members in the band?
- Where did you meet?
- Who plays what instruments?
- How did you come up with the name of the band?
- Who would you class as the leader of the band?
- What genre of music would you class yourselves as?
- Who would you say your musical influences are?
- Who is your target audience? Why?
- Where do you normally perform?
- What methods have you used to promote your band if any?
- Would you promote your band further?
- Where would you like to see the band going in the future?
- Do you write your own songs?
- What are most of your songs about?
- Is there a recurring theme in your videos?
- Do you have any ideas for a music video?
- Are there any music videos that you particularly like or stand out to you?
- What would you consider as your fashion style?
- Would you ever consider changing;
- The name of your band?
- The band logo?
- Your style?
- Your genre?
- How will your band be marketed?

Contact details of the group
Today we all exchanged contact details including mobile numbers and email and once I made an easy to read table, I emailed it to the rest of the group so that we could all easily get in contact with each other.
