Our group came up with an idea for another DVD extra that would be quite a fun way to introduce our band other than the 'behind the scenes' would be a 'Meet the band' style interview. This interview would be a way for the viewers to really get to know the band, asking different questions and seeing how well they know each other.
This is a video of a band called 'We The Kings' which feature the interviewer asking them a series of questions on royal families and monarchs which is relative to the name of their band. With this in mind, we came up with the idea of coming up with a list of questions about Starfish (because of the name of their band) and the ocean in general. I think this is just a way to get to know the down-to-earth nature of the band, which we wanted to perceive in our music video so would be very relevant.
The band Amely show a 'meet the band' video here, which is available to view on their Record labels Youtube page. After researching the band further, they are a new rock band, which is why I think its a good idea to introduce each of the members showing what they all play. In this video it does just that. It begins by showing the bands name in their logo style and then featuring the band members talking about themselves and their other members. This is a way of showing the viewers who they really are and how they act round each other and these interviews are also edited within clips of the band performing and behind the scenesas well, which has given me some really good ideas for the way our interview is edited together.
